Home Depot is a place where you tend to see families shop on weekends for building material and home improvement products. Home Depot is the homeowners go to hardware store. It allows homeowners to be creative, customize interiors, and to enhance their dream home overall. One thing Home Depot is lacking is a significant influencer on social media. Joanna Gaines will be a great match and an essential boost to their influencing marketing.

Joanna Gaines is an HGTV model, wealthy business owner, caring mother, and host of Fixer Upper. She focuses on beautifying and renovating homes with her husband, Chip. While her husband looks after the construction part, Joanna is using her design skills to support clients. She has a strong social media presence on Pinterest and Instagram. On Instagram (IG), she cultivates to promote the show and her designs. She’s one of the biggest home-decor fashion influencers, with 12.6 million followers on IG. She has twelve times more followers than Home Depot alone. On Pinterest, her vision, and do it yourself (DIY) products in homes are showcased to her 10 million monthly followers. In 2019, Joanna and her husband were named “TIME 100: Most Influential people. Joanna has been more in the limelight than her husband, Chip, and they are both okay with that. This fact is why I’m focusing as Joanna Gaines as one, for being a significant influencer towards Home Depot.

Social Presence on Instagram and Pinterest

Whether it is her actual show or on her social networks, Joanna could showcase her home décor and designs with the help of Home Depot products. Instantly Joanna would be able to build a platform with her current followers to build Home Depot’s name. By her follower’s standards, Joanna is known for her trust, loyalty, and creative mind. We have learned that in the social media realm, this is an advantage for influencing your audience. Home Depot does not appear to be failing as a company, but it will take a considerable investment approach in the influencer market to help them grow further in the home improvement market. Joanna would be a pivotal influencer to many people wanting to view her DIY projects, customizing to her style and flair, and trying to recreate her customized home interior projects on her show. All of these projects would help showcase all products, services, and materials Home Depot supplies.

Influencer towards Home Depot

In today’s era of Covid-19, Joanna Gaines could continue to be a strong influencer for Home Depot. She can hit the ground running by making DIY products and improvements with Home Depot as a resource. The method of using hashtags of Home Depot or even showing herself in the actual store will boost the company as a whole. On Pinterest, Home Depot could make a board focused on “Joanna Gaines.” I feel this would also help deter consumers from going to other home improvement stores. Joanna Gaines is an established mega-influencer and could achieve pronounced results for Home Depot overall. In October, Chip and Joanna Gaines will be starting their new journey as they launch their own television network, and Home Depot would benefit riding alongside them.
